The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Red on the orginal game boy. It was the only pokemon game I had for years until I got an emulator and played the others. I had fun with all the glitches there were on the orginal games.

Had to be pokemon red. it was fun so then I played fire red and leaf green later on roms. haven't played any since.anyone know which of the new ones on roms that would be good to play?-Æ

my first pokemon game was pokemon red on game boy coulor. then i played pokemon gold then ruby, emerald then back to yellow... then bit of blue then diamond

I've played Pokemon Red, Blue, Gold, and now the new Diamond and Pearl versions... I'd have to say nothing beats the first ones. They are friggin classics

Mine is yellow...but anyway one good point of yellow than firered or leafgreen...u can get all three starters~~my first pokemon games was actually pokemon blue. wewew i got a mewtwo on it with a wrap skill aw

Yellow I think it was, Whichever one had the rat following you around, it was the one of the few that I have played since then, All the rest have been on the PC and usually end up not making it more then 4-5 badges in before getting utterly bored with the game.

My first Pokemon game is Blue and that's how I started to like Pokemon and buy the upcoming games after it! I bought Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby and finally Sapphire afterwards. I stopped there and didn't buy the new ones.

Yellow. Then came G/S, got the emulator for R/S/E, and came back in business with Diamond and Pearl.

i first played pokemon blue with my gameboy colour i got when i was a little kid, i got em for xmas lol, i started watching pokemons on skyone and i wanted the game when it was "conveniently" released at christmas time. so yeah pkmn blue was the first i played, then yellow,then gold,then crystal,then ruby,then fire red,then colluseum,then pearl...and im waiting for the NXT! argh!

the first i played was yellow...it was fun with pikachu following u around the place and have it know surf(at that time) was surprising to me. it got me into the pokemon games.though....my first was crystal...it suck though...why !?...caz i cant clone any pokemon or items because they fixed the little glitch and my friends' silver and gold could do it and i was frustrated.

I did the same thing .Blue was my firstPokemon blue.man those days were really something,tried to trade on a emulator that couldn't trade and did the most stupid things any one could(i still remember buying a magikarp for 500 and raising it to level 19 and depositing it thinking that its really useless to level up this guy. Didn't even know about gyarados)lol
