Whichever one came out first for the GBC. I never finished it, though. I guess I could still, since it should work in the GBA.

The First Pokemon game would have to be Pokemon Blue. Really i thought that Pokemon was one of the best games i have ever played on a handheld. Not mention the fact you could have that one cheat that made you have 999x Hard candy!. That was pretty cool but kinda ruined the whole game tho. But after awhile i got a hold of my brothers Pokemon Red and Yellow and played that for awhile then i havent picked up another Pokemon Handheld Game again

Pokemon Red Version for me. I remember I had no idea what to do. I remember when I beat the Pokemon league for the first time. My Charizard was dying and it won by using struggle. Oh, the memories....

Pokemon Red, then Blue, then Yellow, Silver, and at last Gold. I never got into the later ones. With gold and silver versions I found it just being stretched out a little too much. "Oh yay I finally beat the elites... wait... there's another world? Great...." Some people may love this for more gameplay for the buck but I found it rather like having to restart the game on a higher difficulty with the same pokemon.

My first was Pokemon Yellow. I got it on one of my birthdays. My favorites are Yellow, Crystal, Gold, and Blue. The newer ones are good but not my favorite.

My first one is silver on GBC.I bought it to play on the airplane from Tokyo to LasVegas.Unfortunatly, I didn't get like it because the system was monotonous.
