Red was my first, then yellow. Then I borroed Gold and Sappire (though the internal clock thing had run out of juice for sapphire)

Pokemon Blue... because it was like the only one out at the time.. 
I remember being like 6 on the playground bragging about how I have a level 200 Snorlax.. Using that Island Cheat thing. oO

red, well it really wasn't mine, it was my bros and i eat all his batteries when he only played for 5 minute, i played the rest of the battery life

My first pokemon game was Pokemon blue. I loved my Blastoise. And i had the huge gameboy (and still have the samy gameboy today)
