Pokemon Ruby, mainly because it has a very good storyline. The graphics are well done too.

Well I got all three Pokemon Blue Red and Yellow at the same time for my birthday along with my Lime green game boy colour.
I wish SPs came in lime green.

Blue Version on a Gameboy (yes the original big blocky one). I have been a pretty avid Pokemon fan because of it and I remember having spent hours upon hours on it beating it over and over again (and making good use of the glitches).

I got Red and Blue the same day, if I remember right... man, that was way back... I still hate my old "friend" that stole 'em both and my brand new GBC... he got a black eye next time I saw him. But yeah, I got red and blue first.
