Allot of games would be made easier to play by the touch screen but, that doesn't mean the game will holistically be better b/c of this. World of Warcraft is one of those games that have no place on a DS or any other hand held for that reason. For one, how are they going to cram the entire WoW universe into the little DS memory? I mean, there are so many other reasons that this is a bad idea but, to mention them all in a post would be a waste of time. Anybody, with an average IQ can take one look at WoW and see why it technically and practically would not work on a hand held.

yea and the graphics would be watered down A-L-O-T and touch scren would be good for battling definately, but what could happen is you play single player and when you want others you go wi-fi, but its way better with other people.

Yes, but any real WoW player knows the graphics don't make the game, and as single player, it'd turn dry fast. The main fun is the 25 man raids and such.I can't see it turning out too well, really.

Well. If Blizzard really release WOW DS, I think it won't shows the poetic atmosphere as WOW. NDS doesn't have high quality screen. Plus, does Blizzard really take this project in consideration? I didn't heard of it. However, if it is under development, it's worth expecting. (I love WOW!)

of all the money they made through making wow, i sure they would start thinking about introducing it on DS. But you just have to wait a while!

online capability will be a problem with allways having to be near a hotspot... defeats the purpose of the "handheld"

Wi-fi brings people together to play yet keeps you in that uncomfortable position

Sorry to disappoint but it is never going to happen ... the DS just isn't capable or anything on that scale ... the best you could expect is a dumbed-down 4 player fantasy game bearing the same name is all. That's where the similarities would end. Take the wifi side of things ... Imagine a run through Karazhan where every member of the party is disconnecting on a regular basis :/.Stormwind gets laggy as hell even on a pc ... I dread to think what a DS would (more likely wouldn't) make of it. Communication would be an issue with a soft-keyboard. The lower screen would just be full of spell/ability icons, especially casting classes and would be horrible to use when you have to concentrate on whats happening to your party on the upper screen.'Heal me' ...'wtf I died? ... I said heal me ...''Sorry, I saw what you said but I was trying to type something and then ... well I hit bear form instead :P''wa**er!'Rinse and repeat.WoW is dying out now anyway, the goldspammers, 5yr old idiots and 'God-complex' guilds have killed it off for the regular players and the only part of Lich King that interests the old players is the Death Knight but I know most of them won't bother returning :/

This "addition" would suck and blizzard wouldn't waste money on it when there pockets are needing stitches overe there broken seems to hold their killing from the current WOW population

I would buy it, and play, as long as it has character creation, spells, attacks, Wi-Fi, interactions(during Wi-Fi), and maybe even talking to other characters online like in the PC version (like pressing talk or something and typing in your words from the touch screen).THAT WOULD BE AWE-SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No offence intended but this is a terrible idea. What makes the endless grind fun in WOW is the graphics and UI complexity, neither of which are possilbe on the DS

I guess it would be very good but... the consol would not be able to meet the requirements of the game and the wifi would be too slow for the WoW servers so if it was on ds it would be cool but wouldn't work or be very very slow.
