They should make it, just so this scenario can happen. All kidding aside, there's just not enough raw power in the ds. The lack of buttons would also force them to put a LOT of stuff up on the touch screen, and with sometimes-dodge touch screen selection in other games, I think it'd be too hard.Plus, Blizz would never do it.Very unlikelyConsidering that the DS can only hold so many players at once, it would make alot of the quests/runs impossible.Just imagine a group of 4 people yelling at eachother on their tiny screens trying to take down a boss

i have seen world of warcraft run on the iphone. It would be sweet if someone could make it happen. Sure the lack of buttons on the ds is a problem but hey the iphone has no buttons. So please get to work

The DS probably doesnt have enough capacity to work a game like that. I cant imagine how you would type a message to someone quickly.

I think it would be a pretty bad idea, but that is just me. However, a standalone Warcraft might work for the DS.

definitely a cool idea, but unfortunately the file size of WoW is large, and the network systems for nintendo have always beeen a little crappy... so no help there either

First of all, There are several reasons why this idea is absolutely impossible.1. The DS/DSi doesnt have nearly enough RAM to play WoW.2. Blizzard wouldnt bother teaming up with nintendo to make a MMO like that.3. How would you pay for it?4. And most importantly, why would Blizzard cohort with Nintendo to make DS game/MMO when they could make something out of the PS3? That would be alot more likely.And who would want such a game anyway?

Interesting idea, but yeah almost impossible unless they chop the game down to a World of Warcraft "lite" (so to speak). Utilizing an engine similiar to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, 4 player active online gameplay (IE: Phantasy Star Zero), 8 - 10 player local wireless (Woo! mini-Karazhan / Zul'Aman raid in the palm of your hand).I'm sure if Blizzard wanted to they could work up a scheme with Nintendo to redirect you (via WFC) to a Blizzard server designed specifically for the "lite" version to host games, a live auction house to buy/sell, instances etc..Would certainly boost sales for the DS / DSi.

With the complexity of WoW I really dont think it would work on the ds. Unless they stripped it down to bare minimums, but then would it really be as good?
