when I first got red, it took me about an hour to think to try and go through the grass

Well I thought at first that I couldn't walk through the grass without a pokemon so I tried to swim and break through fence by pressing A at the fence sections..

this is a good one. in blue version i didnt figure out how to run away from fights or change pokemon.... so i was in the town with ss anne with a lvl 100 blastoise and 5 other non trained pokemon. it was funny wen i fannally figured it out cuz i had to try and train up 5 lvl 3 pokomon. another one is i cought a missing no lol now that was funny cuz it screws up the battle system.

well the stubidest thin i did was probably wasting my masterball on a luodred(i already had one) selling or tossing around 20 rare candys and releasinga mewtwo

it took me 4ever to get out of the first town in the blue version cause i was looking for the professor all over the place except for in the tall grass

Actually I started with Sapphire on my GBA and I had played a number of other RPG games where the second I enter a town I would be challenged and have a really hard time beating my opponent, so when I was in Petalberg Forest I leveled up my Torchic till it evolved into a Combusken and my Shroomish was lv 13 and the others were lv.15 and I was totally annoyed when there was no welcoming committee.

the stupid thing that i made when playing my first pokemon game[red], when creating a new game i did go over and over to oak's house but he is not there, and im afraid to go to the grass. so it took me 5days, my cousin told me to go to the grass and oak will fetch me... huh i feel stupid..

In pokemon yellow the first time i played it on GBC i talked to everyone and i started to go to every house cuz i didn't knew what to do.

im my case the dumbest thing i ever did was this. at first i couldnt figure out how to even get out of my own house. Secondly when i finally got to the pokemon league and talked to the man just before you fight the league i read "if you lose to any of the elite for you will have to start over again." i thought that this meant that you would have to start back from the beginning of the game if you lost to them. and finally the first time i played the game i thought that the hm worked from your bag...... stupid huh?

In pokemon sapphire, I thoght that the person who said he discovered footprints would let me pass, but he still didn't after beating the rival. I went into another house and the person said you need to have stronger pokemon to leave this area so I trained for like 3 days before I went back to Prof. Birch.

You ALWAYS start as a newbie, and you ALWAYS make at least ONE mistake.I'm sure you weren't born knowing a perfet OU team and counters,EVs spread and the rest, right?no matter wat game i play i am a pro so i already have a ton of pokemon and i just started on red version

Lol, funniest moment in pokemon was in pokemon red...I killed all the legendary pokemon thinking there were others...

i remember when i first got my first pokemon game(yellow) everytime i caught a pokemon and asked to nickname it the name i gave it was the original pokemon name and i did that till i accidently press no one day

I used thundershock on Onix, thinking that it will work like in the tv.
