I'd have to go with either Psychic (which can beat just about anything) or Ghost (which defend against a bunch of types). Ghost/Psychic for the win!

Hmm... Steel and Water: these are the types I like the most, because the first can endure most of the attacks, the second because it is an equilibrate type.In the meantime, I don't find useful poison type: it's supereffective only against the grass, and it's weak to psychic (there are so many psy pkmn with high special attack that can defeat them almost in one shot) and ground.

fire,fire, and thunder!grass pkmn are really weak.. e.g Bulbasaur I never choose a grass type as my starter!

Maybe cause they have posion as sub-type? It kills their resistince to ground, but what I like are moves like poison powder, leech seeds, sleep powder, etc.

Hm.... this is hard, but I'd have to say... Ground and Electric. Ground types have Earthquake, and Electric types (Well, non- dual ones) only have 1 weakness.
