I dont think the UMD movie are not worth it, because you can download them from the internet you dont need to waste money buying movie.

I think that the movies are worth it because it makes the PSP the ultimate media device.

man ur off ur rocker it is great because ur psp is not only a game system but it is a mini movie player u could buy a ds and portalble dvd player and get not as good games and pay more or u could get a psp come on now dood think

In my opinion, it depends on your individual situation.If you are a big fan of films, and you do a lot of travelling this could be a feature that attracts you to it, for others its just a feature that will remain unused and bumps up the price of the console.Its a personal choice thing and its there if you want to use it.

id say they're worth it. the umd videos are mostly high def, and its sometimes pretty nice to be able to watch movies anytime, anywhere.

I don't have any UMD movies I would rather just backup my dvd's since the UMD movies only play on the PSP, I can backup my movies and run the off my memory stick and it's not hard to do.

Why buy UMD Movies when you can just download the movies and convert it to play on the PSP. UMD Movies doesn't really come with any like special features of the movies. You're pretty much paying $20 for the movie itself when you can just buy it on a DVD/HDDVD/Blu-Ray and have special features.

I was always against umd's until i bought a psp 
i bought all of the mighty boosh season 1 on umd for £5. Bargain. The picture quality is superb and its great to just lay on bed and watch. in fact i might go do that now.

Yes UMD movies do look really nice and it is cool to have the little disk and all but I think it is better to have to full DVD and convert it to mp4 to watch on your PSP. That way you have the DVD for home and the mp4 for your PSP.

I think that the movie UMDs are not worth it.. because well, they cost about as much as a DVD, but will only play on PSP which has this tiny screen compared to ANY TV that plays DVDs. Not worth the money..

I believe that the UMDs are only worth the buy if you get them cheap, and you are going to use them more than once. The downside to UMDs are that you cant use them anywhere but the PSP, but the PSP is completely wireless, so you can use the UMDs any where. Like I said, if the UMDs are cheap, go ahead and buy them, but if not, stay away.

wat does anyone think of UMD movies? is it worth it?i personally think its not worth it cause u could get a DVD for the same price and watch it on 50 inch plasma TV at home
