Soul Calibur 3 is alot better then 2 is i find because it has alot more selection in the modes. The only thing that sucks is that there isn't any team battles.

I think the character creation is worth it alone, thats why you take the old SC2 and some other game you never play and trade it in.

When SC was release for the Dreamcast, it was WoW, but after that, 2 or 3 is just about the same to me.
I heard that Soul Calibur 3 gonna release in PS 2. Emm... I realy like the game. Can somebody tell me when it gonna release. plz....................

My son is playing SC 3 right now and from what I see it's a lot more indepth than 2.The Graphics are excellent and the charactors are great.

It is the shizzle.....the new create a character option is unique to the fighting genre....hope other game adopt this new aspect.

the whole create a character rocks and the overall gameplay is everything that I've come to expect from the soul calibur series. awesome game!!

wat bout it no comment on it it sure is the coolest game i think with the character makings and making it stronger than anything else in the whole wide world sounds corny doesn't it

I see that soul calibur 3 is too difficult when a player starts, it took forever to start beating opponents, opinions??

Any fighting game player that has little experience should be able to grasp the mechanics fairly quickly, but there are some who are never fast to adapt to a new game. Kind of like me going from CS on the xbox to Halo 2

Soul Calibur 3 didn't change much gameplay-wise from Soul Calibur 2. Anyone who has gotten decent at 2 will be able to pick up 3 easily. As for people who are new to the series, not much can help you there other than playing a lot or watching tournament videos.

I blew a good 150+ hours of my life on Soul Calibur 2, both on the console and in the arcade. Most of it was spent playing against really good people, and the rest was spent studying/practicing tournament combos, so 3 was no real challenge for me at all. The real problem for me was just adjusting to all the changes they made with the characters.

hahaha i miss soul calibur. everytime my friends would come to my house.. we'd have tournaments.. lol.. that was for soul calibur 2. LOL. good times good times!
