It's an ok game. I liked the characters a lot and the storyline was pretty complex for a simple-looking game. I also love how you can travel through time on the Epoch. THe battle system was nice too, I really liked it.

This game is beyond awesome with its great story and excellent characters. Has anyone ever played Dragon Quest 8? The artist is Akira Toyiama (i think thats how you spell it). This is the same artist for Dragon Ball Z and Chrono Trigger . Think how awesome it would be if they re-did CT on PS2 with DQ8 cel-shaded graphics. It would be awesome, 3-D roaming, instead of the bird you have the epoch, getting to see all the environments in different times, not mention in would introduce new people to CT.

Was Chrono Trigger revolutionary in its aspect of multiple endings? When I say mulitiple I mean more than three...

Considering Chrono Trigger had a total of 15 endings, then yes, I believe that would qualify it as revolutionary...IMO. I can't think of any other game I've played that had that many endings.

It's definitely one of the best games ever, not only because of the multiple endings. I really liked the combat system. The dual and triple techs were amazing. Having the characters combine their attacks, now thats awesome.

Chrono Trigger is probably my second favorite RPG behind SMRPG. It was really deep. I'm playing through it currently.

I use to watch my brother play Chrono Trigger, and thought it was great. Actually playing it 5-6 years later, I couldn't get into it. Chrono Cross on the other hand.

I thought it was good when I first played it about 5 years ago, but it doesn't really entertain me that much anymore.
