i've never had this game on my SNES, i played it first in emulator few years ago on my PC. I can tell you that I spend many-many hours playing it, it's so captivating. But if my memories are correct, I've never managed to get to the end of the game...

Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games of all time! But damn was it long, and I have only gotten like two of the alternate endings. DAMN LAVOS SPAWNS!!! What I liked the most about it though was the battle system, and of course the good old Toriyama character designs. I prefer the PS remake though, only because of the kick ass anime cutscenes, but nothing can beat the nostalgia of playing the old school cartridge though:)

There are very few games in the world that I believe every budding RPG fan should play. I wouldn't even give such a title to EarthBound or Final Fantasy VI, some of my favorite games, or even to Secret of Mana, my very favorite game. But I would definitely say that about Chrono Trigger. It's that good.

Best. Game. Ever. My favourite character is probably Frog. He does this duel tech with Lucca, where he summons this GIANT rainbow frog to crush your enemies.Cool as! :P

Chrono Trigger had plenty of endings, you could kill lavos to see each one of them. But overall, I think this was the best Snes game ever.

Chrono Trigger's massive fanbase totally warrants a remake or at least a spin-off on the wii (jsut for the motion control) or the PS3 (graphics standpoint), sure it might suck, but never know if you don't try, plus id like to see what they could do with todays graphics engines and some of the monsters.

This was actually a really good game for its time, from a real-time battle system to a very different and creative story. In many ways, (in my opinion) I still think it's got one of the most creative stories for an RPG these days, surpassed by few others (here's looking at you, Xenogears).

This was the first game I've played as a kid.It was the game that broke the ice to exploring more RPGs.Basically after Chrono Trigger, I've found my brothers and I buying a bunch of other square soft games.Squaresoft never seemed to disappoint me until they became square enix.
