ive seen several comments calling hackers noobs and noobs hackers, but its interesting. most hacks i know of, and that i use are not for noobs or newbs because if used improperly will get your computer ruined. now granted, i dont hack online games, but i have played my fair share of them and have played against and w/ noobs and newbs several times. most of the hackers who people call noobs are simply people who are amazingly good at whatever game it is and have decided to make it entertaining for themselves again. the true noobs are the ones who go around begging for hax. my fav is in games like maplestory, when people started asking me for hax (before they patched the crc bypass), id tell them it was alt-f4 or other hotkeys than closed their game, simply because trying to mooch off of someone like that is a shame. i will provide you with the means to learn, but if you want to succeed you must get there yourself. noobs to me are mostly people who beg, and people who are annoying in general.and yes, ops definition is sooo true

Yup, you see this in DotA every time. 99% of the time noobs put the blame on others and try to act like they're very mature or sumthing but the fact that they play DotA shows that they are not mature.

Yeah a lot of people get those mixed up. But they can be annoying especially if they are persistent, the noobs who aren't willing to learn can really ruin a game. The worst part is if your related to someone who will probably always be a noob. Then they can get you grounded if you don't put up with them or report them.......

i've always confused n00b and newb. Well, now i know. I was about to give you a serious lecture if it was newbs. But since i know what n00bs are, i no longer do. I hate n00bs. i USED to be one, but now no. I'm not crappy at games. I master em!

I think it's unavoidable. I just wish they didn't think they were so great and be quiet, when clearly they keep getting killed in pathetic ways. I only like noobs that be quiet and know they have to play more before they get good, but then thats more like a newb, a noob is hopeless......

N00bs are abundant in games, and N00bs are usually mixed up with newbs because its hard to tell the difference. in addition some people make new accounts while they are N00B. so its almost impossible to tell....

I take newbs under my wing and help them. I take n00bs to the wilderness and pound the tar out of them( having alot of friends who help with the pounding is always nice )
