dk is pretty useless. He's up b move only goes sideways an he doesn't really have anything special, besides the charge up punch, which can be dodged and takes too long to charge to actually make it do anything.

Mewtwo's extremely slow, falls slowly, and all his attacks have serious lag. Mr G&W has similar problems, but can move a bit faster and has a little less lag, so he's a bit higher than Mewtwo. Young Link can't take as much punishment as Adult Link, and the slight increasse in speed isn't worth that handicap (and neither are his "combo" versions of Link's specials). Pikachu can dish out some nice damage, but can't really take a hit or two, and has a really tough time getting back to the edge. Quick Attack makes it very hard to sweet-spot without getting knocked away. And Mario is specifically DESIGNED to be average, so that's why he winds up in the middle.

Mewtwo is by far the worst of them all. he has a slow recovery time, awkward moves and no finishers. Other then him, pichu is also horrible as well as roy and marth. and i don't see why every one hates Ness so much. once you get the hang of him, you can juggle your opponents with his B up move and finish them with the baseball bat or the gigantic green explosion

Mewtwo is STATISTICALLY the worst character in the game, as well as Pichu. Fox, Marth and Shiek are statistically the best.

I'll say ice climbers are the worst, weak attacks and if you kill one the other is as good as dead. I think that Roy, Marth, Link and Young link are the best (at least when I play with them I'm good).

I think Pichu is the worst: hurt yourself with every attack, super light, most attacks are weaker than Pikachu's...why does this character exist? But Ice Climbers has a serious flaw I think because a lot of their attacks depend on having both of them. My friend,who is better than me at this game, plays them a lot, and when he does, I always try KO Nana first, which is not that hard since she is mostly cpu controlled. If I accomplish that, I almost always defeat him too.

None of the melee characters are bad.They are all good.The only reason some people say a certain character is bad is because they don't know how to use him/her.For instance,ice climbers,they are good characters due to the fact that they can freeze you,and they have a good up B attack.The only time they ever are bad is when Nana falls.Reed's PokePet

Hm... Terms of weakness?I would say... Zelda/Sheik.Zelda's jump is horrible and has only 1 special attack.Shiek's B-Up is slow and predictable.Ice climbers aren't that bad if you really think about it. If you're popo, you could always use nana as a shield to prevent any damage. But they do depend on eachother.

personaly i think peach and mewtwo are very good (mainly cus i can use them so no one can hit me ). but by far the worse 2 are jigglypuff, and ice climbers! ice climbers are so cheap and if you kill the second one the first one is practacly defenceless. and jigglypuff is... well jsut a waste of memory!

Actually, the Pokemons characters are the most difficult to master. They have some problemsLike Jigglypuff: fun to play with, good on close combat, but pretty useless against quick foes.

i'd say that Pichu, Falco and Ganondorf for me are very bad character in the Melee series, but this about "bad character" really depends in the preferences of the persons, some think the Ice Climbers are bad but other ones really love to use them.the Ness and Jigglypuff characters have lost a lot of power comparing to them in the other bros.hope that they will get better in Brawl
