i like to use all the characters me and my couzin game them all nicknames. every time we play we make fun of each character.

Very, very true. Peach is actually very good, jump up wait for umbrella to slowly let you down and if people try to attack you smash down attack them : ). Cheap but affective way to defeat people. Ice Climbers are good too let one get knocked off, when two are seperated keep pressing B....personelly no one sucks in this game if you know how to use them

. Well Game and watch does kind of suck... hes only useful for making Kirby black.

Ganondorf hands down. He's a slow copy of Captain Falcon who's moves don't work near fast enough. And everyone who has said Peach should go away, at least she's got an original move set.

After everything I went throught to get that bastard mewtwo, I was more than upset with the results of my efforts. He's not that bad, but he should be better. I had to leave my system on for two days and my roomates kept shutting it off so i had to start over again.

Okay, here is where i try not to yell at everyone. I've seen a few people say Roy and Marth suck. WRONG! If you know how to use them they can be the best characters in the game, especially Marth. The best things about Marth are his C-stick attacks. Use the across C for defence against long range weapons like arrows, missiles or fireballs.Roy is stronger, but a bit slower. If you want a more forgiving character, go Roy. He's less likely to die from a lucky hit, and his Up-B is great if you're on Final Destination. However, his C attacks are slightly slower and so arent as well suited for defense.Some people have said Peach. WRONG! Peach is a fairly stable character. Many people who can barely beat a level 9 find that they can beat them a lot easier when using Peach. Her C attacks can also be use for defense.Ice Climbers bad? WRONG! just harder to use than some. Pichu bad? WRONG! Pichu is a very quick character, if used right you can win battles against level 9's without taking a single hit (even from lightning backlash). Ness bad? WRONG! Ness is probably the hardest character to use, but that is because his B attacks shouldn't be his most commonly used. For Ness they should be used sparingly, use the A attacks and C attacks, as well as Jump Z for characters like Marth. Yoshi bad? WRONG! He is very different from the other characters, he's harder to use, incredibly light and has a single jump. However, he can still be used well by a lot of people. Jiggylpuff bad? WRONG! If you dont use her right shes absolutlety crap but using her sleep power is great if youre good at it (like me). For those who dont know what the sleep power is, all you have to do is move Jigglypiff so she crosses over the opponent and press down B. Try it.The majority of characters in SSBM are good as long as you play them how they were intended.The only character I really dont like is Ganondorf. HE'S JUST A FALCON CLONE. Some of the clones are good, like Falco and Young Link, but Ganon just exaggerates the disabilities of Falcon.Captain Falcon is a fast moving character with some slower moves. Ganondorf is a heavier character with even slower moves. He's easily evaded.The only good things I can say about Ganon are that if he does manage to hit, its really strong, and that because he's a heavier character he can take a bit more damage before he gets wiped out, giving you more chances to try to hit.Yeah, spose thats enough now. Anyway, use characters that wont leave you open to your opponent. If they're using Marth or Link dont even bother taking Bowser, he's too slow. But if the opponent uses an average fighter like Mario, you can choose anyone. If they use someone heavy, taking some fast or just as heavy.

Well in my opinion i feel that Jigglypuff was horrible. I never play with it. I always made my brother play with it in order to beat the game. Jiggly puff only had the sleeping move that could really make some damage, but it goes to sleep and is a sitting target for other things. Jigglypuff does nothing and is a stupid waste of disk space.

Ice Climbers.I do bad with them and I can't say Jigglypuff cause she is pure awesome against Giga Bowser,asrest isn't useless anymore.Kinda funny how the worst character ever kills Giga Bowser in 1-2 hits.

Ganondorf or Ness. I just can't seem to do anything with either character... Ness doesn't even have an up+B move which lets you get back up to the platform!

I know everyone hates Pichu to some degree, but I hate Ice Climbers the most. I am a Pichu user but it is hilarious to be one because I can get more practice since all free-foralls suddenly become three-on-ones.

kirby was great in the orrigenal smash bros but hes lost it in meele. but the worst two characters in the series are samus and DK

It depends on how well you have practiced and played with the character. I've seen people who do great with characters who are usaully thought to be the worst characters e.g. Peach, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Mr. Game and Watch (Those are ones i've heard to be the worst).Some hate a character from the special attacks being useless/hard to master, their A button attacks, and the fact that they can't do a damaging combo attack.I actually know how to use Mario in hard situations like going against three level nine computers.I think in the game there is a movie for seeing each original character's moves/abilities.
