FFX-2 has more cinematics.. while FFX is more for gaming experience

Well FFX im my opining rocks its just a great ff game i have both games and i just plain hated FFX-2 its just to simple its not even fun.

they didnt try hard enough. i mean sq. enix. that was prob. one of the worst FF games theyve ever made. just my opinion. im mean X-2.

To me FFX2 is just a game to make money for Square Soft to stand back up, since Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within was a total failure.

PFFTTHE ending to X was way better than x-2x-2 was cheesyand completly strayed from traditional final fantasyi love bothbut x is way betterx-2 stands no chanceffx ending got me pi**ed so i think ffx2 is better

I love the FF Xbecause its realy great, and it was my first Final Fantasy game that was only minebut FF X-2 is good, too ^^so i have both *g*

FFX is better, X-2 was too fanserviced really.... And X definatly had the better story line too.

I really liked ths storyline to FFX better, as well as the soundtrack, but I really liked the battle system/playing system of FFX-2. The dressphere thing was actually really cool, and the missions were a creative touch too. I also like the ending to FFX-2... It's so sweet.^^

FFX. I can honestly say the whole outfits=Jobs, or classes was really lame in FFX-2. That and even the 100% ending didn't really satisfy me. How lame.

Final fantasy 10 for sure but I find FFX to be really easy and quite boring after u beat it for FFX-2 I find that story to be crap and not worth buying unless your a HUGE ff fan

FFX was 10 times better than FFX-2. It had a better story and gameplay in my opinion.

ffx-2 was better because of the battle style where it is atleast a little more interactive i really dont like turn based though because battles can last up to a long time but i believe that short turn based battles are fun

Is this even a question? o_0 Final Fantasy X outclasses it's 'Sequel' (I stll shudder to call it that) by FAR. How can you compare a masterpiece, a riveting story involving a boy who got whisked away from his time period to protect a summoner on her pilgrimage to save her world to a story about three bored girls with nothing better to do than go everywhere, solve subquest level stuff all on a quest to reunite the main character with her boyfriend? Storyline intensity for FFX-2 is almost nonexistant! And let's not get started on the battle system! FFX-2 had so much glitches in it that I felt like screaming. The lagging in the battle comes to mind. And it doesn't help that the FFX-2 battles hardly required any strategy. All I had to do most of the time is tap the 'X' button repeatedly. If something was even slightly more challenging, all I had to do was equip Cat Nip and Trigger-Happy myself away. This is all a far cry from the FFX battles, particularly the optional ones at the Battle Arena, in which if you don't plan your moves carefully, you WILL get creamed. FFX also offered a better leveling up system. The Sphere Grid is one of the most innovative new systems that I've seen in a long while. FFX-2 gives you a chance to play 'Barbie Dolls' and change their dresspheres around during battle. Wow. Fun. And does it help that FFX-2 is annoyingly BOUNCY? Everyone's so HAPPY that I felt like slapping them from time to time. It was good for a laugh, here and there, but in the end, not too memorable. So in conclusion, FFX-2 doesn't even begin to start competing with its predecessor. I'd like to think it's non-canon, even.

FF-X for sure because FF-x2 was absolutely off topic compared to the first one. Everything seemed to have changed a good 180 degrees and it was too colorful and bubbly for my taste.

X was much better in storyline and gameplay. X-2 was a good follow up but gamepaly was pretty half-baked and noth worth the orignal $50 price. Also X-2 was waaay to easy
