Yes they may have more stars buy what makes them different from our galaxy besides that...

a starburst galaxy is a galaxy that's in the process of an exceptionally high rate of star formation, compared to the usual star formation rate seen in most galaxies. in other words starburst galaxies are temporary

also galaxies are often observed to have a burst of star formation after a collision or close encounter between two galaxies. thats a star burst galaxy both answers together

Isn't that a starburst galaxy sometimes stops to spin or something like that?

Yes it slowly stops spinning.Eärendil - IIRed Anvil - IIatomicknight - ICoatlicue - Ibasf11214 - IEllusionary Mage - 2MageKing-2AbelNightroad-2298. In what do stars form?

Oh i know this one for sure! What it is is a star that becomes nearly sucked into a black hole but it escapes with "high velocity" becoming a hypervelocity star.

Massive stars burn brighter and perish more dramatically than most. When a star ten times more massive then Sun exhaust the helium in the core, the nuclear fusion cycle continues. The carbon core contracts further and reaches high enough temperature to burn carbon to oxygen, neon, silicon, sulphur and finally to iron.

arjun rocks- your answer has nothing to do with the question, nice copy and paste from wiki, since you probably don't understand 3/4 of that.Abel is right.Eärendil - IIRed Anvil - IIatomicknight - ICoatlicue - Ibasf11214 - IAbelNightroad-8Ellusionary Mage - 2MageKing-2301. They call it dark matter.

yes they do :PEärendil - IIRed Anvil - IIatomicknight - ICoatlicue - Ibasf11214 - IAbelNightroad-8Ellusionary Mage - 2MageKing-2Eärendil-2302. This was found by using the Virial theorum, Posted ImageHow is this theory used prove the finding of dark matter? (remember dark matter cannot be seen)

Does it have something to do with sensing the gravitational pull of the "dark matter"?

[Tries to remember his degree] They calculated how much mass a galaxy would need to match it's rotational motion and discovered that all galaxies were far heavier than previously thought. As this mass could not be seen by any current means it is called Dark Matter. I hope that makes sense.

Gravitational lensing is formed from a very distant, bright force that is said to be "bent" around the source object and the observer.
