Games like Pacman, Frogger, and Mario are considered video game classics. What games made in the last 5 years do you think will be considered classics in the future? I think Kingdom Hearts is going to end up becoming an icon.

I'm pretty sure what he means is games for the PS2...But anyways, I would have to say the Dark Cloud series. I can't really think of any others right now, but they're definately up there.

Kingdom Hearts, the new Generation of Final Fantasy (X onwards I guess), Metal Gear Solid. These are games that I would look back to and say "Damn, now there are some classics!"

God of War, Disgaea, and GTA I'd say have a good chance of being classics. I'd say definatly GTA, but maybe on the other two. They'll always be classics to me though.

Obviously all the Final Fantasy games on PS2 will be considered classics. Even if there are always a few who hate the games that are so sooo popular, all the Final Fantasy titles have been incredibly good.I'm surprised no one has thought of the Xenosaga games. They're just as good as Xenogears, and in a few years time, might even (or more like most definately,in my opinion) get recognized as classics! Another series which have always had a huge following (though probably not as widespread as Final Fantasy) is Suikoden. Even if the third and the fourth fall into obscurity, I think Suikoden V will be remembered as fondly as Suikoden II.
