Storyline wise, Final Fantasy X. Its cohesive plot and design as an RPG is just amazing, particularly at creating that ever important player-character bond. The entire experience of the game is amazing too, and I actually cried at the ending. I think in 10 or 20 years they will be studying FFX like we study English Literature (or at least I think they should, because FFX certainly deserves it).

I would say a few of the zelda games and probley some of the final fantasy games

Gran Turismo might hit the classic status for being the real driving simulator for the PS series. Signature of the PS2, though, it would have to be Final Fantasy X.

I think every game in the Grand Theft Auto series will most definitely be considered classics, if they aren't already. Each game in the GTA series has been groundbreaking in so many ways, from GTA III to the last of the PS2 era of the series GTA: Vice City Stories. Also, they all retain their playability so well that almost 7 years since I first played GTA III I still enjoy playing it. That is the most important thing when it comes to a game being considered a classic I think.
