I played the Shadow of Colossus demo over and over and it always seems exciting. Just the feeling of taking down these huge beasts is really somthing. Has anyone else played this beautiful peace of work?

I've been looking forward to this release since it was first hinted at under it's original name. Loved ICO, I hope that it lives up to that standard and improves on it. Just what is included in the demo? I assume you get a mix of using your horse and the sword-light compass thing (For finding them), and probably get to fight one, if not kill it. It's too late now for me to go out and try to get the demo myself, better to just wait for the actual release, but I'm still interested just how much people were allowed to preview / how smooth it played out

I thought the demo was really well done. It got kind of choppy in some areas probably because it was an earlier build from E3. Just from playing the demo, I know I am going to get this game eventually. I believe it comes out the 28th. A truly amazing experience...

I can't believe there isn't a topic about this yet. The game looks great. If anyone has played it can you tell me if it's worth it? I'm pretty sure it is. I just want to be very sure. I don't have a lot of money...

I need to start saving up for a car, so I'm not going to be able to get the game until Christmas. It looks very good though. I have heard nothing but postive impressions for the game.

Yeh, I have the game. I've only beaten the first colossus so far so can't say if it's worth it in terms of gameplay, graphics wise its very nice. I'd rent it and see if it's worth it.

I've heard it was an extremely good game. Even better than DBZ : Budokai Tenkaichi .

I can't believe how many of my non-hardcore friends are buying SotC. Sony is really pushing this in the right places.

Oh this game is quite nice. If you've played ICO, the ending of this game will make you ponder a bit. My favorite colossus is the... well damn, can't really say that as even revealing the names of the colossus is a spoiler of sorts. But the area you fight it in is full of geysers and the whole battle is just breathtaking.

I guess I can't say really, but I think I'm gonna rent it. I was reading some reviews and it seemed to do really well. The fact that you fight 12 bosses, one after the other sounds a little weird, I do love a good story with side quests and what not, but people say that after you take down this huge boss, the feeling you get is just like you beat the game.. except you get to beat it 12 times =0

For travellers who are REALLY on a budget and are looking for a way to skim a few bucks off their travel expenses, why not consider sleeping in an airport? Many airports are actually better than local lodging. And to top it off - IT'S FREE! Your friends and family may look at you funny when you return with your airport stories, but that's only part of the fun. So now, sit back....get out your travel itinerary and plan which airports you're going to sleep in (or avoid altogether) during your next trip.

I rented it today, so far beaten 2 colossi, looking for the third. A friend of mine, who has the game, said that the first few colossi are really easy (duh) and don't take long to finish. As you move up though, they increase dramatically in difficulty. He told me it took him over an hour to beat the 8th colossus, so I'm looking forward to playing it more. And FYI, its 16 colossi you have to kill in the game.

Have it and currently in love with it. The game is fantastic. And yes, the first few colossi are easy. Ramps up, though. Superb game!Buy it, buy it, buy it, buy it!!Don't rent. This game is a keeper and totally worth every penny. The feeling of satisfaction you get from taking down each of the 16 colossi -- even the easy ones -- is wonderful. The colossi are ungodly cool and the game is one of the most original titles I've ever played. Definitely one of the best games in my collection, which points for both originality and entertainment value. Bloody fantastic!!

way too short, beat it in 12 hrs game time. there is not enough story. personally, i dont think its worth the 40 dollars, try to get it for 30 or less.
