I doubt it, why would I buy it for six hundred dollars, when as far as I know I could get a Wii and an X-box 360 for the same price. The only way I'd think of buying one is if they got more good exclusives than just Metal Gear Solid 4.

Whoever thought that $600 for a game console was a good idea, not to mention the price of the games. We're talkin about almost $800 for the PS3 and a few games. Nintendo has their heads in the right place, $250 tops.

You're getting so much more than what you're paying for, though. And the games will cost JUST as much as X360's. Nintendo may have the right price, but we don't know if the general public will like the wiimote enough to sell the Wii.Whoever thought that $600 for a game console was a good idea, not to mention the price of the games. The price is set to $500 for the core system and $600 if you want the system plus a few extras which are worth getting IMHO. Any of you remembered the ps2 launch? Its launch price was much lower than the pre-launch speculation price. What Im getting at is that the PS3 could be much less than $600, however I doubt that it'll be as cheap as Wii. If youve been following Sony's progress over the years, yould know that they lose money with every console made. they make up for it by peripherals and games.

I'm not buying one simply because I don't want it. As far as I know, there's no game that I want to play on the PS3 right now but I already know that eventually, someone in my family is gonna buy it.
