I think that these games are defiantly the best games on nintendo ds. Its great how they take advantage of the wi-fi system.

Pearl is what I'm playing right now I like very much like the pokemon there. And the challenge is fun. Though I never got around it to finish. My DS (on the comp) is rather slow... Is there a fast version of comp DS?

Diamond and Pearl is the new generation of Pokemon that's really enjoyable and descriptive to play. It has 3D graphics now, and it really uses the DS capabilities alot. About 108 new pokemon in Sinnoh and the Wi-Fi ability is nice.

Well, the 3D graphics are nice with acceptable sound quality in my opinion. I am curious in finding out what else the game holds for me.

IMO, the music in this game is delicious. I thought it was crappy at first, but I love how Jubilife's Night song is.

I picked up Pokemon: Diamond for the DS when it came out months ago and have played it off and on since then. It is my first Pokemon game and I was surprised by how much fun it was: I thought it was just a game for little kids. The format of the Pokemon games seem to be all very formulaic: you find a Pokemon, are invited by some doctor to capture them all, then you go out and try to get them all and get the badges from the different gyms.Well, I was reading about someone mentioning how much they enjoyed Digimon World DS, and that it was a similar type of game to Pokemon. Well, I borrowed it from him and I was shocked; it isn't just similar, it is essentially the same game from a different company! You start off learning about the Digimon, are encouraged to capture them all, have to prove yourself, etc.I didn't fully play through since I really was more interested in my Pokemon game (and that he wasn't done with Digimon and wanted it back) but it seems like there is no question: it is a ripoff of Pokemon! I'm curious about what others think, specifically those who have played through the whole thing. Also, anyone who has played both Digimon and Pokemon, which is your preference?

Does anyone know how to catch Heracross pokemon? It says they are to be found by using the honey trees but I've tried for days and found nothing useful.

u have to put honey on the trees it comes at a 60%to70% chance of appering i think

I think Y/B/R Pokemons looks nicer compare to D/P. They look cuter and really more "anima-like" as copare to now "monster-looking". in my own view, pokemon in D/P that quilify as "cute" is less than 10.

The best thing about these games specifically for the DS is the Wi-Fi capability, and all the things you can do with the touch pad and mic. They should soon take that title as the #1 game for the DS, just like its predecessors did for the GBA and GBC.

I really don't think so. D/P pokemon are, unfortunately, much more "cute & cuddly" than before. There are really few of those "Woooo, that's got to be tough!!"-pokemon

The problem is that these games are geared toward the community. Websites and guides have sprung up detailing the hidden super-legendaries, and guess what? They are unimpressive now that everyone has equal access to them. "Look at this! I just got six shiny Arceus!*" Well, I have a Wormadam! And I look like a n00b!If anyone reading this was ever exposed to Misty in Blue, it should be remembered that BubbleBeam was scary. It was something one respected. Look at today's moves! Psychic is like a lullaby! Hyper Beam is "too weak"! Does anyone else think Jynx's cry was terrifying?!? Am I the only one who ever knew a really respectable Pokemon game?

What they need to stop is making more Pikachu clones, like Pachirasu, Plusle and Minun.

My girlfiend loved Pokemon Sapphire, so much infact she figured out the "3 dots open 6 doors riddle" and even managed to use her save game between Pokemon Sapphire and Pokemon Ruby. OK.
