Can somebody please post a link to where exactly you found images of their evolutions? If you can also be abit fast cause i'm choosing right now and wanna know about their evolutions too before i do!! Thank u! ;)Nevermind found some images not really all that clear but i can see them. The penguin pokemon's last evolution isn't that bad,it's really better than monkey's last if u ask me. As for the grass type turtle one... it's second rocks but the third one XD , a wholetree and hills on the shell?!

The final Grass Evolution is the continent Pokémon so it makes sense if you know that. The Fire Evolutions aren't too bad in my opinion but I prefer the Grass ones. I'm still choosing Pochama though.

When that turtle sits around the house, he sits AROUND the house. Also, I'm also fairly bummed that it's proving so difficult to play, but them's the breaks. At least I won't be able to hit myself with spoilers of all sorts until either the game comes stateside, or, uh, until the evil technology of playing DS games on your computer catches up. I'm still surprised at the sheer number of new evolutions for old pokemon they're cramming into this game, though; I hope it doesn't interfere with, you know, having NEW species of pokemon to toy around with.

Yeah, at this point I'm just hoping Nintendo won't pull a Nightmare Trubadoor and only release the english version in America. ;) But I have faith Nintendo won't be that cruel. If they are I'll flood their E-Mail with messages saying how they're losing money by only releasing the english version in America. But I'm getting eight months ahead of myself.

I'm guessing that he's talking about Nintendo ONLY releasing an English version of Diamond/Pearl in the US, as opposed to the vast amounts of English-speaking countries elsewhere that tend to get completely and utterly shafted in terms of game release dates (see Australia).EDIT: You're much faster with that Post Reply button than I am, young padawan.

Yeah, I figured that out a couple seconds after posting xPI wonder how much work really goes into the translating and fixing it for American audiences... 'cause it seems like waiting until spring for the US release is too long..

I imagine tearing out the entire freaking Japanese 'alphabet' system, replacing it with one that we Americaners can read, trying to think up portmanteau-style names for all the new Pokemon that don't sound horrendously bad, and making sure that these newfangled, never-before-seen-in-a-Pokemon-game Global Trade etc. systems that might REALLY be global don't fudge up and turn your DS into a block of cheese might take a while. Don't get me wrong, we can always hope for the best, AND I'm as antsy as anyone else, but I'd rather they took their time with this. The last time they tried to rush the localization of Pokemon games (that is, back in the days of Red/Blue), it... it would've been pretty horrible had someone with brains not stepped in to stop this travesty from ever occuring.Imagine, if you will, names along the lines of 'NY' and 'LA' (because Koffing is like a city with bad air pollution! And New York has bad air pollution! So are Weezing and Los Angelos!), or, say, Growlithe just being called Blaze.... yeah.

See, I dunno a damned thing about how converting the game works.. I'd like to, but I don't.All I imagine is that they just have to edit it to have english words o__oUnless there's a chance that the Japanese version isn't exactly complete...I guess I'd have to see how the coding and such work to really understand.

I don't know how the coding works myself; I'm just making a guess here. Remember, Ruby/Sapphire's fonts were just all sorts of ugly until they managed to replace them in Emerald, so I imagine it's not quite that simple to do.

Yeah.. trying to just replace stuff is probably kind of risky... even the slightest error could probably screw everything up..But still, it seems like a long time...

I think the new games look great! Admittedly I would have liked to play with 3D battles just to spice up the battle elemend somewhat (but that'd really kill the Nintendo Wii game that's due for launch now wouldn't it), but on the flip side, it looks like all the best features of all the series have made it into these games. Then you've got the 3D world, which really is quite a large step up from the other PoKéMoN worlds we've been in so far that were made up (understandably) from a series of repeated squares. The biggest thing for me here is the WiFi... Means that we (hopefully) probably won't have to mess about traveling the country to get the last PoKéMoN we need from a bloody Ninty show. We should be able to get them via WiFi. Add that to the fact that we can now trade & battle whenever we like with & against people and that all of a sudden makes the PoKéMoN D/P games damn exciting to any fans of the series.... Me for example.

With the Japanese simultaneous release of the games and the anime, I think that America would follow it too.

I cant wait to play those games! Im sure it would impose a challenge to all of those pokemon players and those who are just playing for the sake of buying a game. After all, the company wouldnt say it as Ultimate Games if they did not place new challenges...
