the whole game is decent and the graphics are better than the old GBA versions, the storyline is good and you can trade pokemon from around the world! pretty much ill buy it.

1. buy the actual game (if thats what u meant unless u meant rom i dunno) + trade w/ rl pals2. if u cant do 1. id choose the plant or water one... who wants a monkey.... theyve been done... get a turtle or penguin!!! I just got it I picked the turtle, the monkey's not bad when it evolves though he kinda looks like the monkey king.

I remember they did have a "morning" time in the Gold and Silver games, because it was the only time you could find Ledyba. Not sure why I remember that because I didn't even want Ledyba. But I don't think there ever was an "evening" time so I'm looking forward to seeing what exactly it does. Is it just for show or are there certain events that occur during that time?

Some pokemon appear at different times. Rotom is one of the most noticed, because it only appears once.

From what I've read, all five times of day have different things going on for a bunch of characters in-game. Add to that the different pokemon, of course.

i like the 3d tweek it makes it newer then the rest but not so new that it is a compleatly diffrent game im builden up points right now just incase mine breaks so i can download it (crosses fingers) but i hope i wont have the need.

Even though it only came out today in the US, did anybody already beat it? I know there's people out there who probably have. The question, though, is are there still eight gym leaders? Or more, like in G/S/C? And how many of the 493 species can you get in one game?

Ok, here's the thing. This morning I finally met the legendary pokemon palkia, so after defeating those galactic dudes, I engaged a battle with it. I'm used to legendary pokemon being a pain when it comes to catching (flashback with kyogre--> 20+ ultra balls used) but this one...I just lowered it's hp to yellow, used 1 ultra ball, and I already caught it...That was kind of disappointing. Anyone over there had the same thing with palkia?

I've just noticed this while playing while ago, Ice type attacks aren't very effective on water pokemon?!?Weren't ice attacks super effective on water types on the older games?

the only thing about the dp serie's is that they took name based on real things, like turtwig

I think they made the fire starter a monkey on purpose, so people wont choose more fire starters like they always do...I really don't want a monkey with a fire-tail that evolves into KING KONG to be my starter...I'll go with the water one...
