Paper Mario is better in the sense it is a great first RPG, and it is easy to pick up and play. But Zelda beats in a way where it has a better story, and it's just....got so much things vast in a sort of way.

I prefer Paper Mario. Why? I like Mario, that's why. Zelda is cool, but I've never really played it, & my only real connection with the series is Link appearing in Super Smash Bros. Also, Paper Mario seems like a cooler, less frustrating game.

I don't get this poll. Paper Mario is a specific game, while Zelda isn't. How can you compare a game and a series?

Paper Mario was good but only because it led to the VERY good sequel which was about eighty million times better than the original. Zelda still produces better games. By the way, I love people who talk about Paper Mario like he's a different person from the regular Mario. He's the same dude you know...just animated differently.Stevo

I like Paper Mario better, I could just never get into the Zelda games. But better than both of those is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, now that's a great game! It's the one that started the Paper Mario series.

I like paper mario better than most of the zelda games. I only really liked majora's mask and ocarina.

I think Zelda is better because it did a lot for gaming when it came out. Paper Mario is a good game but it was really just like a swan song for the 64, although a very good one.

playing all the paper mario games and all the zelda games this is an extremely HARD decision to make. for fun probably paper mario, but when i want to play a real kick donkey game zelda

zelda was one of the greatest games of all time (great audio, game play, graphics and story line). paper mario was one of the worst(poor audio, poor gameplay, nothing really good). therefore legend of zelda is the better choice

Zelda has had many famou adventures including ocarinsa of time where it scored a 10/10 on many game rating websites. It has a agreat story that can be used repeatedly and still be fun and many new add-ons and side quests. Paper mario isn't bad but it doesn't match up

THey are both very fun games but zelda is a much more complicated game and there is much more depth of storyline. I would have to say zelda.
