Zelda because paper Mario does not have all the cool weapons that zelda has and the story line is longer in zelda which gives you more time to play than in paper mario also, zelda has better graphics.

Paper Mario, cause its the only mario games where rescuing the princess isnt all there's it for the plot, srsl >.> Most Mario games suckZelda is cool and all, but they are always the same, Green dressed fairy boy rescues the Princess from the dark thief, by completing dungeons and beating the boss with your newest weapon.But Zelda its overall better than Mario

Zelda, only because you specified N64. most zelda games are not as good, but ocarina and majora's mask certainly are.

I think Zelda has a greater sense of RPG-ness, you know. I know Mario RPG's not a gimmick, but it just feels a bit like that sometimes.

Hmm... Good one, lol. Its really hard to decide, but zelda is a classic and i had to vote for it. I felt like the paper mario series was a great sucessbut Zelda is slightly better in my opinion.

I would have to vote for Zelda. I have never really been a fan of any of the Super Mario games. I like the story line and the challenge of the game play of Zelda.

which Zelda? you specified Paper Mario, but only Zelda for the Zelda games. LoZ has many great games, but Paper Mario is also very fun. either way, I voted LoZ, because there are just so many awesome stories, worlds and characters for that series,

Don't get me wrong, OoT is a fantastic game, but I personally prefer Paper Mario. OoT frustrated me when I was a kid. Water Temple? AUGH! However, Paper Mario is fun, and somewhat easy.

zelda was awesome but I liked paper mario a lot more because of the gamestyle it's not an action role play game but it's still a hole lot of fun doing attack combos and using "field moves". Another reason why I liked this game was because unlike zelda the ocarina of time I took like 2 weeks to fully finish it

i think both a great i had great memories of playing both but overall i say i like zelda more some poeple will probably disagree with me but i thizelda like a rpg without leveling and has action.i recently downloaded paper mario on VC and i loved playing it over.
