No way, in ff8 I think carbuncles did other things like shell/protect.I am thinking belias from 12 sux pretty bad.

I personally hated Eden from FF8 mostly because you couldn't skip any of them and I didn't want to sit and watch it if I ever had to use any.

Has to be hades, because by the time you get it, its already obsolete. anyone worth using a summon on (ie bosses) is already protected against just about every status effect in the game by that point.

I think the worst is Pandemonia, of FF8, cause most of the skills it teaches are useless, and by that point, there are just not enough monsters weak to wind.I'm sorry, but too little too late.

Carbunkle is always the saddest... Especially in FFXI he's a little peanut compared to the other summons.

Technicaly odin/gilgamesh were summons in 8. Odin was awsome but gilgamesh was bad. I had it use zantetsuken 5 times durring the adel fight thereby rendering the instant kill useless
