I know 5 other games that use the microphone. Wario Ware Touched uses the microphone for several reasons, like cooling down something or talking. All Nintendogs games uses the microphone. It"s mainly uses to teach your dog tricks, call it"s name, and to blow into things.

Lost in Blue requires a mic to make a fire since you have to blow into the microphone, I am not confirmed but have heard of Grand Theft Auto might require the mic to be used to call a taxi at the later part of the game.. I played Lost in Blue and the mic is vital, without it, you cannot advance through the games because you need the fire..

Pokemon Platinum, Pearl, and Diamond uses the microphone. However, this can be disabled if your opponent or friend does not wish to speak. You can only use the microphone on wifi though.

Brain Age uses it and also all of the Lost in Blue Games (which I really love) I feel like of all the games that I have played that use the mic, Lost in Blue uses it the best.

The only games I know are Mario Kart and Nintendogs. The only thing in Mario Kart that you have to use the mic is for the balloons though >.<

Two games that spring to mind are monster lab and wacky races. I have heard roumers that you can tape a drinking straw to the mic input on korg ds-10 and sythesize your voice . I think it could be on youtube or something.

The only one I came across with the usage of mic is the DS game for D.Gray-man. You shout (or blow) into the mic to wake someone up.

I think nintendogs because you have to call them and fossil fighters so you can blow away the sand off the fossils.

There's actually many, MANY ds games that use the mic. Unfortunately, the majority of them use this only for you to blow into. There's only a tiny handful that require verbal commands. I wonder why, if they have online capabilities with the DS, how come they don't make better use of the mic and enable voice chatting during online play, y'know?

Nintendogs is the only game that I have that actually uses the mic. I had to try 100 times to get the dog to respond to me though :[

Well...Pokemon Platinum (possibly Diamond and Pearl too): Very minor use, you can record your voice for it to be played when your Chatot uses ChatterGTA Chinatown Wars: For calling a taxi, and putting the flames on yourself off. Both not really require the mic, they can be done with face buttons too, the mic is just an option.
