I got pal version for harvest moon wonderful life for GC and also I got harvest moon friend of mineral town for GBA(Im not sure if gba got version, but let say it's pal coz i bought it in the same place). The question is, I heard that you can load your gba data from harvest moon friend of mineral town to your harvest moon DS, do you think i will be able to load the data to harvest moon DS (US version which is NTSC and once again I also not sure if DS got a region) to get the bonus event? sorry if it's kinda confusing to you guys

There seem to be glitches, but they're mainly freezing glitches, and some money glitches (you get like 150 million), but they should be able to be overcome just by saving regularly. You can still enjoy the game.

I wanted to ask the opinion of people on this thread. I really enjoyed HM-BTN and FOMT but didn't get into AWL, mostly because of the slow glitchy timing. Is this game better in that depatment? It sounds like a great game and I'm excited to play it, but don't want to waste my time if I know I won't enjoy it! Thanks much!

I heard that AWL's only laggy in the PS2 version. The GC version has no problem.

Yeah I have the PS2 version of AWL and it's really slow in loading. Good to know that the GC is better. I'm pretty excited to play this one though. It sounds like a great mix between FOMT and AWL with a bunch of new features added! Long game play too from what I understand.

Yeah, from what I've seen about the game, the characters are all taken from AWL, and the setting is a lot like the one in AWL too. But too bad your guy can't grow old, that was a great feature in AWL, as well as your son helping out in the farm.

I heard that in this version, your son doesn't help out in the farm.Also does anyone know a way of leveling up crops. I can only get them up one level by chucking more seeds on the same place.

Aparantly Nintendo didnt really use the full feature set of the DS and its pretty much a port onto the DS. The touch screen is just used in a 'forced way', simply to use a feature that was there. There was no real effort put in this game to make it any different from previous versions. Im very disapointed as I love the series. The GC version also sucked btw.

Your Sis downloaded the Japanese Girl version, there are two versions of the game out, the boy version which was released in the US and UK, and the Girl Version (like Friends of Mineral town you are a girl), the Girl version which was only released in Japan.dude that would b the only good part about it lol i dont really like harvest moon i saw my friends sises play and it was just a girl farmer version of animal crossing
there are 2 companies that make the harvest moon series, Victor and Marvelous, so thats why, and its not owned by nintendo why would nintendo release a game on the PS2? I luv this game but i can find out who to marry. I like 4 of the girls. I think they should make one for ds where u play a boy and marry girl.
