if you read the reviews at gamespot it will tell you that it's no different than any of the other ones and doesn't offer anythign the touch screen can take advantage of. there is no real plot but more of a goal to be succuessful in life for the protagonist. the game is highly addictive though.. i'd get it anywaymay i ask what the plot of harvest moon is? also is it worth getting for my ds

This game changes things up a bit. crop levelling is a huge bonus, and many other things can be levelled up in a less secretive fashion now. It's a great game and kept me busy for DAYS on end.

Harvest moon is my favorite games since PS1, gameboy advance in both boys and girl version and PS2.And now I also play harvest moon for NDS also. I'd never miss it.

harvest moon is fun for a couple of hours , but i feel that its a stupid world , there is not enough in there to do every day , and one more thing , why didnt they expand the game ?

that would be fun if you could buy your own gun and shoot people that came on your farm that would be fun for that game atleastif u could steals animals u then need a shotgun to defend agiast thouse player. redneck wars!

I think Marvelous should've added Mineral Town to this game. Like say, if you have FoMT plugged into the GBA socket, the HM sprite blocking the mountain path on the east side will allow you to pass, thus entering Mineral Town. Then you can come across with any familiar townsfolks and perhaps even the main character!

What you do get when you have HM:FoMT in slot 2 and you play HM DS is that each day of the week a Mineral Town character visits the valley, you can marry the mineral town girls but that ends the game, also the name on the grave should change to the mineral town's farmer's nameI think Marvelous should've added Mineral Town to this game. I have HM for my GBA and I won't get it for my DS as it looks basically the same. I wished they would have done something new and cool and not just the same old boring stuff spiced up with some witch. Hmpf!

How so?I just got married in my game and I'm starting to find it a bit boring and repetitive. I think they really should've added some more mini-games just to increase it's lifespan. There is so little motivation to continue past Year 5 that it isn't worth buying unless you have FOMT or MFOMT.thats a good idea sorta like that runescape game on the internet

the game does get repetitive later on...i mean it was fun for the first 2 years since you're busy trying to get settled but once you get that seed maker, its all over. you'll be harvesting crops thats worth 2 million a day.
