I heard that it's set 100 years after AWL, but it's got the same girls to marry. (I blame cloningHow's the harvest moon now? Is the story somehow relates to the GBA harvest moon?

If you've played AWL and FOMT, then I guess you should wait for the PSP Innocent Life version to come out, because DS looks like a bit of a merge between the two games. But as a keen HM fan, any HM game would satisfy me ^^Thank God i am gettinga job so i can buy a Ds just for Hm: Ds
It's pretty easy. Off the field, you can talk to people, go up the mountains to collect mountain food, buy things (using money that you ship in boxes) and on the field, you just use the hoe to dig up the dirt, plant seeds, and water them. To woo girls you just give them presents that they like. And I better warn you about how easy it is to get addicted to itSo how would this game fair for people who have never played a HM game before? Is it easy to pick up and get into?

Yeah, I'm in love with celia too. And i also got the cave thing after a while. Try to look for it anywhere. It was so silly of me ...Yeah, Celia seems to be the best choice out of all of them. Lumine being the next. =p Celia seems to like things you dig from the archeological site. Necklaces, Bracelets, earrings.. hahah Cheap courtship ftw.Anywho, not sure if this was mentioned, but be sure to enter the archeological site (the cave) @ around 8pm-9pm any day with the hammer equipped. Doing this would grant you access to the mine site where you can find ores to upgrade your tools.Just a friendly reminder since it took me a while before i found this out, and who knows? it might not just be me who stumbles upon this problem.Edit: just to add to the post above, you can also court all the girls from FOMT by inserting your FOMT gamepack into your DS when playing HM:DS. Be careful though, if you marry the FOMT girls, your game automatically ends and you move back to Mineral Town.

This is supposedly the same version as the "fixed" Japanese version. Though there are bugs that still exist. Natsume's games are typically buggy... If you want more information on the bugs though, there is a thread on Harvest Moon DS bugs.Is the this HarvestMoon the translation of the early Japanese released or the new fixed ones?

I think the only way the game will end is if you actually marry one of the girls from Mineral Town. Otherwise, the game will likely go on for as long as you're willing to play the game. What a cool feature they gave you, also, does this game end? Unlike FOMT you can go on till like level 100, please tell me this game has a decent ending and several of them! Thanks in advance!
Meaning that you have the actual DS game in your DS, with a flash cart with FOMT on it in the GBA slot? If that's the case, then yes. It should work that way too.Say if i use the actual DS cart and GBA rom, will that work as well?

As far as I know, DS emulators don't have a "gba slot." So in the case of emulating Havest Moon DS, I don't think you can do things that require you to have entered the GBA game into the DS.If I play this in PC..then how can I use the "plug in the HM:MFOMT" feature?
