I just started playing this last night... the graphics does look at lot like the GBA version but the story is different and I like the interface on how you get your tools or items..

I dislike the way alot of purchasing is done though the phone. I'm more used of the older Harvest Moons where you had to walk to town to get your purchases.The touch screen contols can be somewhat annoying also. I felt they were introduced more as a gimmick then anything. Other then that I still like the game and play it alot, but felt it could have easily have been done on the GBA.I'm looking forward to the next Harvest Moon for the DS.

You can use it to fight off monsters inth the Mine and use it to distroy the big rock by the water fall. the cave in the waterfall is really nice but you'll how to find out yourselfI just got the magical sword from the second mine. Anyone knows what is it for?

I haven't played HM too much and was wondering if there is a time limit when it comes to courting and marrying someone? Like do you have to be married in Year 2 or something like that?? I sorta feel rushed that I have to court a girl while doing all my chores.. I feel so busy!

You need at least 1 mystrille lvl tool, get to the bottom floor of the second mine(255) and kill all the monsters in that room then a path opens up to the room where you get the sword.In order to get to that floor easily save on every floor you get to and look for the hole. Try to fall 9 or 10 floors on each hole, if you don't then reload and jump down the hole again. Also get Turbojolts and Bodilizers XL. You lose lots of stamina and get fatigue when you going deep into the mines. You may even faint. The first time I tried going there unprepared, I fainted at floor 225 cause i had no recovery itemsis there any trick to get the sword? i've played it few times (the mine) but still havent got the sword.

I know HM for DS is already out in English version 
my bro's already go it but I've got my fingers crossed for HM DS for Girls () I'd swipe it off the shelf instantly

the harvest moon series was altogether really good in my opinion. if this one is like the others then its definitly gonna be good
