It's definitely going to be Articuno; it was the first legendary bird pokemon I found when I first started playing the games, before I even knew that there were bird pokemon. I was just chillin in that cave east of cinnabar and all of the sudden I found this amazing bird.

i would say moltres because, he was the first one i caught with a master ball(not knowing back then in RBY there was a mewtwo you can catch) and used in the Elite 4I always like his fire moves and drill peck fly etc.

Articuno for Mind Reader/Sheer Cold cheapness. If not, then Lugia for Aeroblast.

Lugia hands down. Aeroblast was the coolest ever flying pokemon move. Sky Attack would have been number one, but it takes 2 turns and that's why it's number 2, lol.

I'd say that Lugia is the best, then Zapdos, then Moltres, Articuno and Ho-oh.I've never really like the legendaries though. I just train them to L100 and they go in the box normally...Unless I feel like using them for some reason.

moltres wins first, he's my strongest bird on fire red, zapdos is my second fav, articuno third

I miss the days when I just sat there and annihilated people with my Articuno. Freezing was almost always my advantage when I repeatedly used Blizzard or Ice Beam. It was a way to win and I liked the sprite design. Probably one of my favorites.

Hmmm Zapdos Articuno Moltres Lugia Ho-oh Latios Latias Rayquaza.... All Flyers (May not be birds but i dont know how you could considered the first 3 birds if things that fly with wings arent birds..) Rayquaza is cool... Lugias still the best though.

i personally would think moltres is the best because if he sinks in lava, he regains is energy!! (ok, i admit......i just love fire)

I think they all have equal stats that balance them all out but they don't learn any good moves except Ice beam.

I'd choose Articuno, Moltres, then Zapdos one reason is because I'm not such a fan of electric Pokemon, and if I had to choose between Ice or Fire, I'd definitely go for ice^^~
