Deffently ffx much better story and character growth. The second one seemed kinda dry you dont get a whole lot of story and they dont tell a whole lot about the new characters like Lenne. So I would deffently have to say ffx.

ffx is flat out better,a tleast to me, sure x-2 is fun but the story is predictable. if they were movies, x-2 was like a charlies angels, x was an amazing action movie like the bourne series

FFX have a nice story, some characters, interesting system and great music. It's not the best FF so far, but it's a good one.FFX-2 looks more like a videoclip than a game. You only have three characters and they just keep on changing clothes to fight. The system is extremely interesting but the game is so-so. Still, it's interesting to play.I would say FFX is the best of the two, but it all depends on if you prefer seeing cool things or cute girls!

I've played both and I think that they're both great games, but I like Final Fantasy 10 better.

Most of you think that X was a lot longer, then that means you aren't as experienced as other people. When i bought FFX, it was too short for a game, and needed to have more things to do. FFX-2 was HEAPS longer, not as in start to finish, but as in getting 100%, just beating the game isn't enough, you need to get 100% completion of the game, to call yourself a master at it. Do not worry, i am not dissing you all, it's just that you can't judge a book by it's cover.FFX is the better of the two, cause of it's love story.FFX-2 is almost as good, but cause there isn't much of a love story, it doesn't match up to the equality of it's predecessor. As squaresoft states, every odd numbered game is best for GAMEPLAY.And every even numbered game is best for it's STORYLINE.

As squaresoft states, every odd numbered game is best for GAMEPLAY.And every even numbered game is best for it's STORYLINE.

When have they stated that since that is only obvious in 3 games.FFV had great gameplay, while ten had great story. FFXI was also gameplay. VI had a great story and great gameplay. FF I, II, III,IV and IX are arguable Then there is the ones that can be argued forever, like the heated discussion between 7 and 8. People can go on and on about this and we will never have a clear winnerPlus where does this put X-2? It has 2 even numbers and it's story isn't great but it has the greatest battle system ever for an FF game so that throws that argument out the windowPLus I like FFX better. Love the faster paced battle system and the sphere grid was awesomeLulu doing max damage is one of the greater accomplishments in FF history.

FFX hands down, without a shadow of a doubt FFX had that deep dramatic story that is a trademark to all FF games. But oddly FFX-2 had a somewhat shallow and very, GIRL POWER!!! feel to it. Altough the little thing about Tidus might being alive thing was pretty intresting. And another downside was the fact that the battle system was to fast not enough time to think thus not enough time for real strategy. If your going to do a time based system do it like FF7

FFX definately wins out on this one.FFX-2 is only good because it continues the story of FFX. Otherwise the game would completely suck. I admit that it has some neat things to it...like going back to the real time battle system instead of the completely turn based system in X. And also, you can change classes on each character instead of your characters being stuck in one class. The game is also COMPLETELY non-linear unlike X.I'm finding the story a bit slow, however.Forgot to add that the girls are hotter in x-2 =)

Ok...think about it this way. FFX was the first one, so if it wasn't good, there won't be sequel. Sequels are almost always never good by any means, and people just buy them because the like the first one.
