I gave up on the halo series after i saw halo 2's ending. I threw my beautiful new airflo controler against the wall and shattered it into a billion sparkly pieces cause the end of that game sucked so much donkey

Halo...great game...too addictive. Although it is an awesome game, i never liked it. Dont ask me to explain my logic

A bunch of my friends read the books, there's supposed to be 7 games (because there are 7 Halo rings). I highly doubt there will be that much, but my estimate is 5 or 6.Will this be the last game? or is there goin to be a game for each halo ring? intersting how micrsoft still hasnt realeased any information about halo 3; for halo 2, information was released 2 years b4 release..

I can almost guarentee you this, they're not going to follow the movie 100%. And the series is mediocre at best.

any ideas about any of the new weapons/moves in the game? Like maybe a stealth mode where you put your gun up and break necks, or they let you use the jackal shield. (If someone posted this idea already i appologize

ACH MEIN GOTT. Obviously I'm in an XBOX forum, and obviously I'm in a Halo topic, but good lord, the game is not GODLY and neither will it change the history of gaming. If you ask me, it's basicly a regular FPS with the ability to steal vehicles. Otherwise it'd be completely redundant just to play. Although it's not my place to tell you what to buy and/or play, you guys need to go out and buy yourself a GameCube or a PS2 and play a different shooter, because apparently you've had too much Halo. It's ridiculous what I have to sit down and read because of the fanboys here. Halo keeps overshadowing every other game out there, good lord (and yes, I've played halo 1 and 2, AND online, so I know what I'm talking about, and no I didn't finish either games because they both sucked in my opinion).Go out and get some air...Otherwise I'm considering Halo3. That's if Microsoft even decides to dish it out in the long-run, or if the demo is actually fun.Just thought I'd put my 2 cents and a half in.

Hmmmz I still just cant understand what people find so great about this game. I played Halo 2 and eventually sold it. FPS games have to be played with mouse and keyboard imo.For me the game is unplayable with a controller.Maybe playing Quake 3 for years ruined it for me

Halo is proven to be good, GOW is not. I'll stick with what's been acceptable in the past.However there is always Timesplitters. The fact that they have a map editor makes their multi-play last a lot longer.

Well, for those who haven't noticed... Halo is just one big cash grab movement to promot xbox. The first one was amazing, and it needed to be so to hook all gamers this amazing game. The second was subject to false advertisement and was claimed to be rushed so that the company could make some profit (which it did get by suckering in all of their consumers), and well the third one... This one might be good, it might be bad, it all depends on how Mircosoft is planing to do with there Xbox. If they want to claim the very few pennies out of their buget before running it into the ground, or if they want to amaze everyone with their high tec gagets... The point is you never know with Xbox, its just not stable. But don't get me roung, I would so buy an Xbox before the new ps3 with weird controls or nitendo that is working backwards. Just don't get too hypped up about this game, and read into it before you buy the game.

I think part of it isn't the fact that everyone loves halo so much, its that some ppl started saying it and it got to the point that if they don't say that they love everything halo, they sound like they know nothing about gaming. I agree that Halo isn't as groundbreaking as ppl make it out to be.

Don't get ur hopes too high with Halo 3 guys.... >.<REMEMBER: Halo 2 was and is an awsome game but what made it appear bad was really high expectations! So don't think about it too much. The longer it takes em to make Halo 3, the better it will be!Man I haven't been on here for a long while!
