Does anyone think Mario Party is starting to go down the drain? some people say that Mario Party can't get much more ideas for the mini games.

After all the Mario Party games, I agree. It's starting to go down the toilet.

Yeah. Mario party can't get too far from where they are unless they completely change it.

I reckon they could hav used some of the older mini games without changing them, cause i got the very first one, which was pretty good. then i went and bought the 5th one, and that was quite shockingly crap. some of the games just degraded to spinning the control stick and then some random thing happens :P

I think it's time for a new franchise. How bout coming out with a smash brothers every year. It was always more fun than mario party anyway.

Super Smash Bros. is better than the Mario Party Games. You can fight with all kinds of characters!A good idea to add to Mario Party would be to add better mingames. ^^

meh, they'll probably come up with something ingenious for the wii. hopefully they'll have the sense to do so, cos i can't wait for a mario party on wii. think of the possibilities...

Well all series have an end of the line. Might be interesting whether Nintendo ditches the series or saves it. Even more interesting to find out how they will save it.

The Mario Party games are just getting dull. They need to leave more stuff in certain games. I loved the kart battle in MP5 but then they took it out in MP6. Also they've took a chunk load of items from the first three MP games like the skeleton key, the phones, the dueling glove and they even took out the duel maps from MP3 which were awesome. In every MP game they take out cool stuff, and leave in all of the dumb stuff and even put in more boring stuff. And when they put something cool in then in the next game they take it out. Also the mini-games. It's the same thing over and over. They only change the concept. Maybe they could make a MPDS with a hell load of awesome capibilitys like new minigames and some will use the buttons and then others use the touch screen. And they can add in extras like putting the duel maps back in and just have a mode where you play random mini-games that you've unlocked and keep on playing and playing till you lose.

Yeah, mario party is going downhill. Maybe nintendo could make MP8 taking advantage of all the innovation of the Wii controllers and make cool minigames once again. I hope nintendo is able to revive what used to be a real Party!!!!

Its been going downhill since 2. I bought 4 and sold it a couple of months later. But people still buy them so they'l keep making them. I suspect that Nintendo Making so many Mario Partys and sports games was to leech whatever money it could from the Cube, *hopefully* if Wii is more succesfull, they won;t have to resort to such blatant franchise milking.
