Fire emblem 5 Thracia 776... I've only played it with save states (though I"m starting up a file without using them) and even with them, its almost impossible to make it through some turns. I've completely given up on getting xaviar (sp) because its just impossible... nevertheless to SSS rank it.

Ghouls 'n' Ghosts for the Super Nintendo, and its remake on the GBA. That game was so freakin' difficult, it was laughable! I did manage to beat the GBA version thanks to save states on an Emulator, but the SNES version remains unbeaten by my hands. *sobs* And I call myself a game master? I MUST beat this game!

exzisus. even the names hard to pronounceor pro wrestling for nes. you can only play for about 10 minutes before your hands start to bleed

Two games come to mind, both are from NES: Deadly Towers and Solstice are insanely hard games.

Contra Hard Corps for Sega Genesis. Seriously try it yo won't beat it w/o it being a rom or a game genie. It is extremely HARD!

yeah I could never beat Zombies ate my neighbours for its like 60 + levels and all your weapons are gone or your running out of people to save around level 40!
