I'd say Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, or FF3 are good choices.

Solid RPG... Final Fantasy III would be your best choice. Contact ain't bad either, quite a light-hearted story you'll find there, and a lot of good game reviews about this game. >.< Somehow, I prefer Magical Starsign over Contact. But still, Final Fantasy III should be the best RPG on the NDS yet.

I actually prefer going back to the GBA Golden Sun titles :)But rpgs made for the DS... I guess of the ones in english at the moment Final Fantasy 3 is the best way to go.It has a pretty undeveloped storyline though as the game came out to NES back in the days.I guess if one wants more of a compelling storyline one should try the newer games. And to potential flamers, I'm not saying this is a bad game, I am enjoying it myself, I'm just saying the age is showing itself on the things like storyline :)

Lost Magic and Lunar: Dragon's Song were both good, but a little too short...Digimon World DS is also good if you like digimon, but obviously, you should stay away from it if you don't...And DQM was a great game...I still sometimes get my GBC out and play it once in a while...so if joker lives up to it, it should be a great game.

I'm pretty sure Animal Crossing isn't an RPG. More of a simulation game. Or something. The only RPG I've played for the DS has been Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (still haven't beaten it, but I love it). I'm hoping to get FFIII for Christmas, but I'm most excited about Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.I generally go for the "cool" colors, (as opposed to "warm" colors), so my collection consists of Blue (and Red, but it doesn't work), Silver, Crystal, Sapphire, LeafGreen, and Emerald. I WANT to get Diamond, but EVERYBODY seems to be doing it, so I think I'd actually have more of a chance for trades if I get Pearl.I dunno. It seems awkward having to break tradition, but I don't want to be left high and dry because everybody gets Diamond. Why DOES everybody want Diamond, anyway?

It seems to me some people here are confused about what an RPG is...

If you want a list of games that are Role Playing Games, then I would try Game Stop or Rpg Gamer. However I'll tell the Role Playing Games I think are quite nice.1. Harvest Moon Dual Screen.2. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.3. ContactThat is my list of Role Playing Games, I hope it helped.

They might if you use understandable English...Aaaaanyway, My favorite RPG on DS has to be belovedFF III. That and Dawn of sorrow (which I lost).AC:WW isn't an RPG, but it rules.

Harvest Moon is really good, it isn't like Final Fantasy at all it is all about farming but somehow it got classified as an RPG so :(.

LM and Tao aren't too impressive... pretty mediocre actually. Now, the ones that seem worth a spin are the Lunar one, Children of Mana, and the FFIII remake.I'm not sure about the Mario/Luigi RPG, I haven't touched it really.

I thought Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time was actually really good. A bit on the simple side, but it had solid turn-based battles and fun little puzzles to solve throughout. It took me a good 22 hours to beat it, too, so decent for a handlheld RPG.I've got Final Fantasy III & Contact waiting for me, both of which I'm highly anticipating.Although they're great games, I don't consider the Castlevania DS games "true" RPGs.
