Heck yeah. They're really simple, but they're a nice break from the rush of traditional RPGs. I never beat any of the 3rd gen games, but I plan on doing it soon. I'm more partial to the first two generation games anyways. I'm also looking forward to Diamond and Pearl.

Yeah, the old Pokemon games are still addictive as heck. You can always restart or try building different teams and applying different TMs. It's fun to come up with new move combinations and stuff like that.

Actually, I still do. And I will keep playing it, because the games are what's going to stand the test of time out of the whole fad. It's just a classic blend of elements that pretty much run seamlessly.

Yeah, the RPGs in the main Pokemon series are great. Even though Pokemon has a "kiddy" image and the anime has gotten old, the games have a lot of replay value (easily over 100 hours). I just wish the battle systems would feature more changes for each generation.

) Right now I`m playing R/S and I think it`s awesome! It`s more like the original games than the G/S, IMO. Weather changes are cool (shame they`re not random; would be even better), but they could`ve left the daytime shift in...

I think that even though it has a childish exterior, pokemon is still a great rpg base, so i play it.
