My GF has the game (its released at this point) and she really loves it. I personally dont like it as it is not challanging enough, but as an artistic title, very well done.

i am playing this, and its ok so far, although i miss the old weapon system where you have watts upgrade your weapons, and you can pick more then 1 spirit and upgrade them with spell use, but this game is passing.

Ya, I love the Mana series. I wonder if thier gonna have pets, like they did for Secret of Mana.

They have no pets, but they have assistant spirits

I'm pretty interested, although, I'm slightly turned away. I wasn't a fan of sword of mana (GBA). I just couldn't get into it.

This game is simply awesome. Of course, I am a completionist of the Mana series and a huge fan, but putting my biased nature aside, you simply must play this release. It will definitely go down in DS history as a smash hit. .......

The only fun part about it is the multiplayer. The game is good until you get into the rythm of the recycled maps and weapons over and over and over again. I wish they would just go back to the original form of mana.

I have the game. And like nonhia said, the game is fun on multiplayer. In single player its a 2 weeks to get bored game. After u see whats new and gets the hang of the new system, you'll start noticing that the dungeons are somewhat always the same pattern. It wont ever get to be a rival to its best volumes in the series Seiken Densetsu 2 e 3 for snes. The only thing that could make this game enjoyable on the long run would be wi-fi support, but they didnt bother even to put in wifi support. So my opinion is, dont buy it! Ull regret it in a couple of weeks (That is, if u played seiken densestu 2 or 3, if u never seen this games maybe U could like this game). Of course, on multiplayer I dont think its boring, killing spree with a lot of friends is always pretty much fun!And i have a question, is the US version compatible with the JP version? Can i play multiplayer with differente versions?

As far as I know, all versions of released DS games are available for multiplayer with other versions. I cannot confirm this and at the time, do not really feel like researching it, but it seems as if Nintendo is pushing "Global Interconnectivity", and without multiplayer support for every language...well, that really just doesn't accomplish what they would like to. .......

Sort of weird in my opinion (and this is why I didn't like it) that you could only use one character at a time.

Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.

yea it is kinda short... was a bit dissapointed by it... not having most of legend of mana's good points.. well.. its a good game overall, its just it didnt live up to its predecessors.i own the game so i guess some feedback on it:somewhat spoilers: (just highlight to read) you can choose between 4 characters, each having different stats and choose their hairstyle.gameplay is kinda straightforward storytelling with the ability to revisit places and do some sidequests or 'jobs' which either gives you money or equipmenta really really short game if you went at it straight.i finished it in a day playing and suddenly realized that my $40 was gone for good :P

This game wasn't really worth buying. I've played Sword of Mana and thought that this would something like that. I was pretty disappointed, you know.It repeats itself all the time. Booriing!

I played secret of mana and actually I'm playing it again right now but I don't know if this game will be as good. Secret of mana on the snes was probably the best of the series and I don't know if this can live up to the hype.
