Zelda II isn't a horrible game, but it has to be the lowest on the list of Zelda games. I once heard that it wasn't originally intended to be a Zelda game at all. Someone decided to slap the name on and change the graphics to add a degree of marketing.

Little do people know, the worst zelda game ever, unless you grew up without playing any other zelda games, is Ocarina of Time and up. When it went 3d, it got too easy. Seriously, ever play A Link to the Past? and do you remember those annoying little guards, who, if you weren,t paying attention, would knock you down a few hearts, or in some cases kill you?Now remember in Majora's mask when the music changes when you're coming close to an emeny? And on Ocarina of Time when those zombies on the field come up? They walk very slowly, limping, and when they're about to attack you the hold their arms there for five seconds before they strike. This gives you time to walk a few steps away, so it won't even adjust its position, or just run and weave through the far too easy to kill zombies. And of course, do you remember how long it took you to beat the original Legend of Zelda? And after you had your fun with that, have you even tried your hand at The Adventure of Link?I think not, and I rest my case.

The Legend of Zelda II: Adventures of Link was the worst Zelda game. That game has bad taste with a touch of rpg in the system.

I'd say 4 swords, because it could've been much longer. Vaati was a cool boss, and having a multiplayer zelda game was good, but length was the biggest issue...

to me, there isn't any bad Zelda games, but if i have to choose,i'd have to say zelda II because it was not that good of a transition from over-the-head to sider scrolling, but it was ok

Everyone is saying Zelda II, I thought that was pretty interesting! My least favourite is the first one, as it has pretty much no story and there are too many enimies.

Well, here's how I see the Zelda games:Zelda: A dull game by today's standards, but pretty much started it all. Classic in pretty much every aspect of the word.Zelda 2: Many people didn't like it, but I enjoyed it. It was a bit too easy, but innovative nonetheless.Zelda 3: Probably my favorite one in the series.Link's Awakening: Never played it.Oracle Ages/Seasons: Never played either of them.4 Swords: Never played that one either.Minish Cap: I played a little bit if it, didn't seem all that bad.OoT: A bit too easy, but still a great game. Master Quest is tied for my favorite game in the series.Majora's Mask: Had some great ideas, but pretty much failed. It's a game where you either loved it or hated it, I hated it.Wind Waker: Never got around to finishing it, but it was fairly entertaining, judging from what I played.

I would have to go with 4 swords since I hated the way they did the levels altough it was pretty interesting, but out of the series,it was probably my least favorite.

Zelda 2 wasn't THAT bad... mainly because it featured links downward and upward thrust with his blade, which is featured in Super Smash Brothers / Melee. My vote is for Four Swords (GCB) mainly because unless other people have the game.. it's repititious and boring and not very plot driven.

Haha! They cant be counted XD :)

YES! Someone else gets it! The Philips CD-i wasn't made by the nintendo directors.. Nintendo and Philips were going to work together on the CD-i games, yet nintendo wanted to back out but Philips held on to the contract and made the zelda games in hopes of sales.. and we have today the worst excuse of a zelda game... it pains me to bring back repressed memories of trying to play it :'(
