i would say tekken cause i know that game more than others and it was the first acrade type fighting game i ever played

soul calibur by far, that game has surreal fighting exemplary tactics BUNNIES AND DRAGONS WITH BUNDLES OF PRACTICE

All three are good, but Soul Calibur is definitely the best. It is just plain fun, and awesome to watch. And it actually has some compelling single player content and unlockables that blow the others' away.I remember playing the first game in the series (Soul Edge) in the arcades over 10 years ago......and the soul still burns.

I really thought Soul Calibur 2 was a great game, I heard the third one is a disappointment.

Soul Calibur. Not typically a fan of fighting games, but it seems to draw in more non fighting game people than the other two, so it's more fun to play for me.

I like Tekken more on the Ps2, because it is more of the orignal, and i like Soul Calabir more on the Game Cube because you can play as link.

While Soul Calibur 3 was disappointing compared to 2 (on ALL THREE consoles) I still enjoyed them a lot (though mostly on Gamecube; Link's grapple where he jumps over an enemy's arm and kick them+Proper positioning near a ledge=Instant KO)In any case, I wasn't a fan of Virtua Fighter, and I haven't played Tekken, though I'm guessing the two are somewhat similar. (*puts on VF and Tekken fanboy repellent*)

TEKKEN kicks donkey.... especialy then newest one.... devil jin kills everyone... and hes better than normal jin cos he has the same moves as the jin in tekken 3

Well, I've never played Soul Calibur so maybe I'm talking out of school but I friggin' loved the Tekken games. It seemed like the learning curve was nice and steep so you could pwn n00bs but still enjoy the lucky win now and again even if you'd never played.

I love Tekken to bits, gameplay, characters, flavour... maybe not story, because that was average.My opinion is clearly biased though, I played Tekken everyday, I've played Soul Calibur 3 once, and I never recall playing Virtua Fighter in my life...

I bought Tekken 4 and Virtua Fighter 4 when they came out and tekken has to be the better game. Virtua Fighter is way too complicated and does not have enough modes to play in. Tekken has Force mode and in Tekken 4, its in 3-D. I've played Soul Caliber but i haven't like it enough to buy it.
