Twilight Princess version of Link is my pick. A mature Link worked quite well without transitioning back to a kid.

The classic Link had to be the best. You couldnt tell how old he was. the weird thing was that he had no pants on, lol. i just kinda went from a long shirt to boots... and a belt on his shirt.

Definitely Twilight Princess, the graphics are better, there are more dungeons and its got one of my favourite weapons, the ball and chain aka the flail

cell shading looked pretty crappy but i did like windwaker, oh and tp is my fave
the flail isnt the same as a ball and chain, a flail is smaller and is a stick with a short chain attached and a spikey ball at the end of the chainDefinitely Twilight Princess, the graphics are better, there are more dungeons and its got one of my favourite weapons, the ball and chain aka the flail

how come dark link isnt in there!?! hes great, cool guy, but link was the best in a link to the past, best zelda game made, even better than twighlight princess, and i love twighlight princess!

Twighlit Princess Link looks pretty rad. But I sort of have a weak spot for the somewhat more blocky adult Link in Ocarina of Time.

Wind Waker! I donno why people didn't like it, but the cartoonish personality and experiences of Link were hilarious. The game got a little bit too serious towards the end, but after playing the "end of the world"-styled OoT and Majora's Mask, WW was a nice change of pace.Twilight Princess would have to come in a close second though. I don't really like Link's whole outlook on things throughout the game, but thats just me. (Hey, the village kids were kidnapped, one of them is suffering from amnesia, Princess Zelda gets into "trouble", but thats OK! Link will still smile, not get angry, frustrated, upset or, god-forbid, cry.)

I think Twilight Princess Link looks the best. Mostly because of the more detail that is allowed to be put into his design. I'll probably end up liking the most recent incarnation of him because of this.

I never got to play T.P. unfortunatly, so I'm going with the old-school Link. It just reminds me of when I was small and had tons of NES games laying all over my room to the point where I couldn't see my floor. BTW, I hate the way WW Link looked, except when he was fighting, with the little smoke effects and stuff.
