i hav to say shining force b/c i always go for great stories, but dont get me wrong they are both great games

I prefer Fire Emblem. Though, I do like Shining Force 2, I think some of the FE games are just better than it (FE4 in particular)If we're talking about the Fire Emblem game on the GBA (Lyn, Hector and Eliwood one) vs Shining Force for GBA...I'll still have to go Fire Emblem. Shining Force is far too easy, even if you don't use any of the overpowered characters (Hanzou and Musashi to be sure, as well as a few others)

In Fire Emblem Gaiden, you can go in villages too. The Fire Emblem Series is better than the Shining Force series in my eyes.You are talking about the whole series of both games, right?Shining Force, Fire Emblem is only battles. In Shining Force you can move in villages, etc.

If fire emblem is cool ,I'll try it.I never heard of it.Shining force is a great game,but I'm up for a new challenge.

I tried Fire Emblem and Shining Force but I would go with Fire Emblem as the better type of game.

I grew up with Shing Force, so it wins because of nostalgia.

The Shining Force series had been there for decades now. I just can't stop feeling that Fire Emblem was just an imitation of Shining Force. 
So my vote goes to the original, Shining Force series.

Shining Force, TOTALLY PWNZ Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem feels like a copy of that game, seriously.

i go fore fire emblem since i never played shinig force in my life, i heard of it though breifly but never played it, fire emblem sacred stones was good

Trust me, you WILL want to play Shining Force, for it's storyline and good charactersYou can download the one for GBA, wich is a remake of the first out for the Genesis, and you can get a Genesis Emulator, ( KegaFusion Rocks in my opinion ) and Download Shining Force 2.Good Luck in finding them.*Tip, they are all on DGemui go fore fire emblem since i never played shinig force in my life, i heard of it though breifly but never played it, fire emblem sacred stones was good
