There's no question to this one....Squall is really just a take-off of Cloud, turned punk/emo and after you've taken away alot of the character development lol....Squall doesn't really change at all through his story, where as you never really know Cloud until the end

Hmmm. In terms of:Looks: Squall. Cloud looks too freaky with his mako eyes and super blond hair.Weapons: Squall's GFs! Actually, Cloud had pretty cool summons too. And in AC his sword got a major upgrade, so Cloud wins.Personality: They're sort of the same to be honest. I suppose after Cloud gets over his personal demons his personality gets a bit better, but Squall seemed more realistic to me. So, Squall!And in the end, Squall wins. Hooray.

cloud because he is sporting a sword plus he is not so scarred and not as quietcloud is probably more approachable but he does seem quite a boring fellow and quite short and quite blondeso maybe id pick squall in the endbut then again a cloud is supposed to be soft like candy so it fits with the cloudy weather in my climatebut squall is supposed to be stormy and brooding so it fits with the stormy weather come hurricane seasonso maybe id pick both

i liked Squall, and cloud was okay but couldnt choose between the two, even if i'm seriously leaning towards squall. i relate to him so much it's scary

Cloud has my vote he a cooler character plus he got his own movie i think he would do more damage then Squall if you seen the movie.

MAN!!! both of these characters were amazingly done 
, i love their character development in both games, and while i prefer ff7 to 8, i still have to give it to squall, he was just way too cool! Although to be perfectly honest it probably has to do with the opening cinematic in 8, its one of my favorites for any game ever (although cloud did get advent children lol)
