i agree that cloud can use the bs final attack phoenix summon cheat... but out of the two squall is definately cooler... i mean the scar is awesome...

If they're in versus mode in fighting game off course Squall will be beaten to death..he's too soft always thinking oh, Rinoa my love Rinoa Rinoa...but if it's look contest then Squall is the coolest.. spiked hair just too silly >_<

Cloud was the strongest of all ff characters by their stats. and he messed up sephiroth. took squall like 8 guys to beat the sorceress.

cloud is more handsome, lol. i like his blond hair and blue eyes lol. but i think squall is stronger. arghh! tough choice but anyway, i think they're the same. they're both cool-ahs.

yeah i see your point....what's missing though is the mp absorb, if its not there ur mp's draining out man, and squall's hero's drink and unlimited supply of limit breaks will keep on pummeling cloud. weeeeeeeee!!! but for what its worth, i like cloud better. he's more lively! heheActually, what you said does make sense...but Squall can have Cactuar(10000 damage)

I like them both but Cloud just seems stronger. He could just use Knights of the Round Summon.

Cloud VS Squall hoho as for FF fan i would choose both! ops it say VS huh? so who would win?for me if this pvp fight Squall would win bcoz of his cactuar but yeah this i would choose Cloud bcoz Squall to real dude i mean its really to real to suit with the Final Fantasy trilogy i guess square enix just want to make this FFVIII for real human but i disagree what more fun then a little dose of freaking hell big BUSTER SWORD? yeah that what i want to see in Final Fantasy other than just cute face and real time problems like girlfriend or something like that not for me lets c some all time fighting pvp match when Sephiroth VS Cloud Strife in ADVENT CHILDREN yeah thats more like it!
