Squall knows better than to whine in a middle of a battle. He'll put away everything that he holds dear and concentrate on his enemy. And he can move faster because of the difference in their weapon sizes. Plus he has military knowledge. What does Cloud have that can give him an edge? And don't give me that "OMG liek he has teh big sowrd!!!!11" BS.

Ok here it is.Cloud will win because he was exposed to macro and he was more skilled in combat that squall. Cloud does more multi damage with Omni Slash if you look close its about 7 rolls of numbers each slash and as for squall his do like about 3 or 4. Plus he have gun trigger and the randomness of it. Cloud can use hero water and get a faster limit break also he has better magic like mega sheild. These are my bases of why Cloud would beat Squall.

Since we're using items, Squall would use Hero or Holy War on him to make him invincible, then use Aura to make him have Renzokuken immediately. Then he would use Renzokuken, which hits the enemy 6 times, then Lionheart hits the enemy approximately 21 times (I have a video saved in my computer). And you're forgetting that Squall's the strongest and smartest fighter in Balamb Garden, which says a lot.And it's MAKO

I'd say Cloud wins, he's got crazy omnislash powers, but then again Squall's got crazy Lionheart skillz. Both are pretty good, but I just like cloud better so he wins =D

Leaving out the Omnislash/Lionheart skills and whatever:Squall has a lot more military discipline and is genuinly calm (cold) and is a natural leader (although he doesn't want to be one) and is an excellent strategist and will kick Clouds donkey quite well because of that. :DBut on the other hand, Cloud is a more sensible fighter, has more experience and is probably stronger than Squall. I mean, flinging around that big donkey sword all the time must work wonders for your muscles and general condition.But I'm a FF8-man, so I'll put my money on Squall.But on the other hand (times two): who cares?

And you think Squall would let him? If neither of these gentlemen has any limit breaks, they'll probably attack as usual.But you know: Squall has a critical attack due to his revolver sword. He'll just inflict some extra damage by pulling the trigger.

And I prefer Squall, and that's really what this topic is about isn't it? But I have to say it's rather fun to come up with strategies on how the one character could defeat the other.Heh. Now that's fantasy.

Squall is better than cloud in everyway, I only like ff7 because it has good gameplay and has sephiroth in it (my 2nd fav ff charecter) Cloud just looks cool but my favorite is squallSQUALL OWNZ CLOUD!!!
