Yup, I text, its like an almost sure way someone will get a message. It also helps when your service bars are low.

i do it all the time...it's kinda common here as compared to other non-asian countries, i think. my plan provides a 1000 free text messages for me to send so it works out pretty well for me. doesnt take much effort actually.

I do, but mostly through Yahoo to other people, because my plan charges the crap out of me for using my phone to. >.>

Yes, I use SMS all the time! Either that or IM, but it depends. Obviously, given the chance, I'd rather meet the person though.

I text message all the time! I got a Samsung Blackjack with unlimited TMs/month. I have an AIM account for my phone, too, so people can send me messages from AIM.

I do to use a lot of times include instant messangers. Because I am also deaf, thought. This is kind of fun to send messages and picture back and forward too many times.

I'm not going to pay for a text messenging plan when things like MSN, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, AIM and IRC are free and serve the same purporse. If you have your celluar phone with you, why not just call the person?

It's funny.You start using a cell phone for talking, and eventually after years of use, you end up using text messages because it's cheaper. And it's not because you got Gizmo or anything like that.
