Texting is really expensive unless it's in your plan; it costs a nickel per text. That adds up when you send about 500 text messages within two months. Because my cell phone doesn't have a plan for it, I text very rarely.

Thank god for Verizon. $5 a month for unlimited TXT, PIX, or VID messages, as well as unlimited mobile IM. Plus I got the SCH-u740 so texting is a breeze.

I don't text message, though in my plan I do get 400 messages of any kind to use, text or picture 
. I mostly use picture messaging to send photos I take with my camera phone to myself.
