omg, ds lite for sure. the brighter screen justifies this pick. the regular ds screen is terrible.

I say the reg cause i have big hands and i like the surround sound from the little speakers and plus the lite buttons are to close together for me

Get the Lite, it's better in all aspects. The standard is a dying breed. It won't be stocked for very much longer.

I would have to vote for the lite. First reason is the fact that if it dies, you can just swap it out for another lite. Another is the fact that it is smaller. It is amazing how much of a difference it makes when holding it for hours on end.

I didn't even know you could still buy the regular. I have a regular, but I would have to vote for the lite, if you are thinking about slot 2 accessories (DS Broswer, rumble pack) most stores will only stock the lite sized ones, not regular (boo hoo for me)

I got my Regular DS the december b4 the DS lite came out... Boy i was angry 
so i recomend u get the DS lite

Get the DS lite. The battery last longer and it's a little bit more smaller than the older one. It's like having the choice between the old SNES and the "newer" model.

DS lite is much better,more compact and a brighter screenthe regular DS looks a bit wierd as well, and its a bit to big to fit in your pocket

DS regular is less flimsy and is better holding. better color too.Lite is much better! Believe me, you will regret if you buy the old DS.

anyone who buys a DS reg is wasting there money cuz lite is smaller, lighter, easier to hold, and overall a better piece of hardware. you can drop it and stuff and no damage! well at least mine hasn't failed on me yet lol

Ds lite i have one and i love it, but u should get R4DS coz it doesn't crash i have had mine for heaps long and it hasnt crashed on me.

go the DS litewell it has better battery, brighter screen and its more compactthere in theory is no reason to actually have a large one unless you were an early adopter

Ok i own a old school NDS but if i was to buy a DS today i would get a lite. Much smaller and better looking... and a lot ligther but i got mine like 2~3 months after the DS came out so i didn't have a option and changing now would be useless since they do pretty much the same thing.

if your friends hav ds's then get the one they have coz you can share charges all my friends hav reg so we dnt tak our charges wif us we just use each others

I prefer the DS lite, becasue it's smaller, the screens seem brighter, and the battery lasts longer. what more could you want??

mabye ds lite is liter and brighter... SO WHAT...the gba game sticks out in the ds lite and the ds lite is very breakablemy neighbor has broke like 4 ds lites and my brother broke his too.the regular ds is better and cheaper
